FOR PROFESSIONALS
Another opportunity to recover value.
A representative on the seller’s side.
Wind-down advisers, assignees, receivers, attorneys, CFOs, accountants and trustees may encounter companies with useful operating archives. Copper Key handles the commercial licensing process alongside the authorized seller and their counsel.
What to look for.
Several years of retained digital records, distinctive expertise and histories that connect a problem, a decision and an outcome. Operating, restructuring and closing businesses may be worth assessing.
Start with the industry, approximate size, systems and company status. Do not send client names, raw records, credentials or confidential documents.
No referral fees. No buyer compensation.
Copper Key is paid by the seller under a written success-fee agreement. We do not pay or accept referral fees. Independent legal and technical costs, if needed, are separately agreed.
See the wind-down approachHow an introduction works.
- Describe the situation. We assess whether further discussion is worthwhile.
- Arrange an approved introduction. We do not approach your client without an agreed introduction.
- Confirm scope and authority. Representation and fees are agreed before commercial work begins.
- Keep the process documented. Available offers are compared in writing. Updates can be shared with you with the seller’s permission.
For fiduciary matters, we coordinate commercial materials with counsel. Counsel determines any required court approvals.
